In 1999 Richard joined Stuart as a mechanic in top fuel drag racing, they worked and gained a valuable insight and knowledge with some of the top tuners, mechanics and European Championship drivers, taking them all over Europe. During this period in 2001, they decided to form their own team, and purchased a chassis, then continued working with teams until the end of the 2004 season. |
At the end of 2004 they hand-picked a team of skilled and dedicated individuals, built the car and formed McDonald Racing as we know it today. Stuart and Richard have achieved a great deal in such a short time, they have the knowledge, experience, professionalism and an excellent team, as results are showing.   |
